MEATBALLS AND VEGETABLES WITH SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE CHICKEN NUGGETS
These meatballs are another way to eat, in addition to what I enjoy pickles like a lot, also accompanied by vegetables so they are at the point and reminded me a little of the foods they eat in Asian restaurants.
Ingredients for 1 person:
Ingredients for 12 dumplings:
- 200 gr. of minced chicken / turkey
- 1 medium egg
- chopped parsley and salt
For the relish:
- 30 gr. sugar or its equivalent in saccharin
- 10 gr.
soy sauce - 10 gr.
ketchup - 180 ml of water
- 1 / 2 tsp cornflour (cornstarch) (5 gr.)
- onion, green pepper and red
- 2 teaspoons oil
Preparation:
Make meatballs with ground beef, egg, parsley and salt all well blended.
Put them on a baking paper and spray oil on them, into the ordinary household oven to 180 º C for 15 minutes, turning half the spraying time on the other side back to spray. In a convection oven at 175 º C for 6 minutes, also giving them back half the time and having also sprayed on each side.
While in a frying pan or wok put another teaspoon of oil with the chopped vegetables, onions and peppers to brown a bit, then soy sauce, ketchup, a little water and mix well with other cornstarch, too and ultimately add sugar or sweetener we use. Simmer a few minutes, once the meatballs are added with the vegetables and sauce, leave to thicken and blend flavors.
